Ripple Patterns

Ripple Patterns
Uploaded by Philip Anderson on 22 Jun 2018 in McMinnville

These significant ripple formations were captured at Beachside State Park (Oregon) on June 15, 2018, during a minus tide. Not only are they interesting visually, but also in how they were formed. These are symmetric, flat topped ripples, initially formed by the breaking waves (before the tide went way out), and then their tops were flattened by the oscillating tide.
